Data cleanup · Automation · Practical AI

Is your business losing hours every week to spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and work done by hand?

We help small businesses clean up their data, automate the repetitive stuff, and get one clear view of what's actually happening — so you and your team can get back to the work that grows the business.

Operating principle AI does not fix bad data. It amplifies structured data.

What We Do

Five things that take the busywork off your team — in plain terms, here's how we help.

01

Data Cleanup & Organization

Fix messy, scattered data so everything actually works together.

02

Workflow Automation

Stop copying data between apps and doing the same tasks by hand.

03

Systems Integration

Make your tools talk to each other automatically.

04

Dashboards & Reporting

Get clear, real-time visibility without building reports by hand.

05

Practical AI Implementation

Use AI in simple, useful ways that actually save time.

How We Work

A direct path from messy reality to a working system. No slide decks, no jargon.

  1. 1

    Free Systems Review

We look at your current operations, find the biggest time wasters, and give you a clear roadmap. No cost, no obligation.

  2. 2

    Build the Solution

We clean your data, build the automations, and set up integrations — all at a fixed price with clear deliverables.

  3. 3

    Ongoing Support (Optional)

A monthly retainer keeps everything running smoothly as your business changes.

Who We Help

Built for small businesses first — and any lean organization drowning in manual work.

Small & Medium Business

Disconnected tools, no real reporting, and hours lost every week to manual data entry. We turn that into one clean system — measurable time and money saved within weeks.

Nonprofits

Donor records, member data, and reporting that eats your week. We clean it up and automate it — so your team spends time on the mission, not the spreadsheet.

Why Work With Us

Compare the usual fix — hiring another person — with building the system once.

Hire a coordinator Build the system (MOX)
Cost ~$45k+ / year, every year One-time build + small optional retainer
The busywork Still done by hand, just by someone new Automated, so it mostly stops
Scales with you You hire again when the work grows The system handles the growth
Knowledge Walks out the door if they leave Lives in a documented system you own
You own it Process lives in someone's head Yours — full data export, no lock-in

Coordinator salary is a typical U.S. market estimate for an admin/operations hire, not a client-specific figure.

Built On Open Tools

The same proven, open-source stack every time. You own everything — no licenses, no lock-in.

About Frank

Frank Mozingo is a data and systems engineer who's spent 12+ years building production data pipelines, system integrations, and automation — and years running operations from the inside, where he delivered over $44,500 a year in documented cost savings at a single organization.

MOX Consulting brings that same rigor to the businesses that need it most: the ones drowning in spreadsheets with no dedicated IT or data staff. If you want someone who has actually run these systems — not just sold them — that's the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to clean up and automate my business data?

Most projects are a fixed price between $2,500 and $5,000, scoped up front so you know the number before any work starts. That covers cleaning up your data, automating one or two manual workflows, and setting up a clear dashboard. Ongoing support, if you want it, is an optional $300–$750/month.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Small and mid-sized businesses (roughly 2–30 people) drowning in spreadsheets and disconnected apps, plus small nonprofits with the same problem. Two exceptions: medical/dental (HIPAA) and defense/aerospace (ITAR/CMMC). Everyone else is fair game.

What if we're not ready for AI yet?

That's fine — AI is the last step, not the first. Every project starts with cleaning up your data, because you can't automate or query data that isn't clean and organized.

Do we need to buy software licenses?

No. The whole stack (PostgreSQL, NocoDB, n8n, Caddy) is open source and self-hosted. You pay for a small server (about $9/month) and our time — nothing else.

Can we keep our data on-site?

Yes. We can run the identical system on a mini-PC at your location and manage it remotely — ideal for sensitive customer, financial, or donor records.

What's included in the monthly support?

A monthly check-in, backup monitoring, quarterly updates, and workflow improvements. New features or integrations are scoped separately as add-ons.

How long does a typical project take?

A typical project runs 2 to 4 weeks from cleanup through setup, depending on how messy the data is. Adding reporting and AI on top can extend that. Optional support starts after handoff.

What happens to our data if we stop working together?

You own your data. At any point you can request a full export in standard format, readable by any database tool. No vendor lock-in, ever.

What's the first step?

A free systems review. No pitch and no proposal until we understand what you actually have and what you actually need.
